2022 Mongolia Evolution of Life Golden Edaphosaurus .5g Gold Proof Coin w/ COA
This incredible Gold coin is the new release in the amazing “Evolution of Life” series, dedicated to the world’s ancestors. In this edition: the Edaphosaurus. The coin has Proof quality and comes in a capsule, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 15.000 pieces worldwide! The reverse of the coin depicts some fossil remains of an Edaphosaurus, a genus of extinct Synapsids. The primitive herbivorous relative of mammals reached a body length of over 3.5 metres, with a short, low skull and blunt, conical teeth. The most distinctive feature, however, was the large «sail» on its back. Around the reverse, the inscriptions: “Edaphosaurus” – the name of the coin, “2022” – the year of issue and “EVOLUTION”. The obverse of the coin depicts the Mongolian Coat of Arms and the inscriptions: “MONGOLIA” – the issuing country, “0.5g .9999 GOLD” – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Gold and “1000 TOGROG” – the face value.
