This marvellous Set of 4 x 1 Oz Silver coins celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the famous Boston Tea Party. The coins have a beautiful design, have Antique Finish quality with High Relief and come in a wonderful case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 500 sets worldwide! The reverse of the coins depicts the famous Boston Tea Party stamp motif, showing the political protest that occurred on December 16, 1773, at Griffin’s Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts. American colonists, frustrated and angry at Britain for imposing “taxation without representation”, dumped 342 chests of tea, imported by the British East India Company into the harbor. The reverse of the coins also features the inscriptions: “THE BOSTON TEA PARTY”, “250 YEARS” and “1773 – 2023”. The obverse of the coins features the Coat of Arms of Barbados and the inscriptions: “BARBADOS” – the country of issue, “2023” – the year of issue, “5 DOLLARS” – the face value and “1 oz Ag .999” – the weight of the coin and fineness of the Silver.
